hello!
hmmmm..
while darling was in CHINA, i went to search for his bed which he wanted.
dragged geok wif me to TAMPINES IKEA and COURTS..
the place was a big WOW for me la!
its damn damn nice. reali damn nice.
esp we went at night.
the place is lk not singapore-ly at all.
so nice.
did not manage to get the bed but bought 2 cushions for $3.50 each.
hehehe.geok saw her mirror.. quite nice. $29. she wanted to buy.
but very hard to carry home since its so long. hahaha.
and the delivery charge is $40 for items below $40.

dat fridae after i had my night shift, i went home to slp.
at ard 5 pm, i went to meet ben's sis at queenstown ikea.
hmmm. walked less than 30 min found the bed alr.
den i pei the sis and the husband walked ard to find their stuff.
den home sweet home!

hmmm. last week of ITP. i was at HISTOPATHOLOGY lab.
its damn fun.
the most fun lab!
all the ppl there all very young.
can work with the music on.
hahaha.
hmmm.
i saw a lot of samples ranging from appendix to breast to large intestine.
its freaking fun la.
i get to touch the tumour in the breast.
hahaha.
get to cut those samples [colon, hernia, fallopian tube, pancreas, etc]

nxt thing im gonna mention will be the night shift at CGH!

geok and I went on the Night Duty on one of the days.
it was a pretty good experience,
partly because we skipped one day of work [cos we worked thurs 8.30 pm to fri 8.30 am, instead of workin normally on thurs and fridae]
and also night shift got no many samples to do.
most of the tym we sat down there and chit chat.
hehehe.

it was quite tiring actually.
by 6 am, our eyes were bloodshot alr.
by 8.30 am, our eyes half closed alr.
slept in the bus lk nobody business, opened mouth big big oso dun care.
hahaha.
quite cool la actually.
=]
i kinda like the night shift.
todae we went to ask if we can do another night shift.
hehehe in order to skip one dae of work la huh.
too bad, the manager gave us a very bad deal, so we din take it. =]

im updating again!
hehehe!

first of all,
everyone pls start to congrat me,
i have officially finished my whole course of antibiotics!
finally~
and thans geok for teaching me how to swallow the tablets!
=]

let me mention abt 2nd big thing that had happened during ITP.....

22 MARCH 2008
CHANGI GENERAL HOSPITAL SYMPOSIUM.

this was an event whereby the lab technicians, manager, professor did their presentation on their research for certain machines.
for e.g. blood gas machine, thalassemia screen and stuff lidat.
hmmmm.

OF COURSE, we as students [extra ppl in the lab] were entitled to do all their SAI GANG [shit work] that was-----
FILING.
i din mind helping them to file actually,
but pls la......
be more considerate can....
ask us [3 gals] to punch the holes for the ppt slides.
its fucking thick i tell u.
and we got lk 100 files to file in la.
which meant we had lk millions of papers to punch hole wif !
DAMN IT!

and thans to some professor... hmmmmm..
last min giv his ppt slides, last min change slides all this made us open and close the bloody file for SO MANY TYMS.
HELLO~
its not 10 files.
its 100 files!
imagine each tym he change the slides, we had to refile the 100 files.
=.=
nxt moment, they said the schedule write wrong place.
den had to open the damn 100 files again to change.
DAMN IT~
lidat still not enuff~
said nid another 25 copies of the ppt slides.
which meant we had to file another 25 files.
a bloody hell waste of time na.
cant they jus do a check on everything den ask us to file.
=.=
damn damn angry sia~

AND WE DID OVERTIME HOR!

the event was quite successful i guess.
cos i whole day sat outside at the reception table there slack.
nv go in and listen at all....
ate lk a pig that day.

den i dunno le~ geok and I went home earlier.
cos geok said she wanna c doc. she kinda sprained her elbow while filing.
so i said i pei her.
actually i went home.

i suddenly got the blogging spirit after changing my blogskin!

my darling is coming back in 5 days time!!!!!!
argh!!!
SO EXCITED!

BAD NEWS!

school reopening already.
sad sia.
cant even rest after we finish our industrial training.
DAMN!

okie.
let me talk about my work first.
the most 'INTERESTING' thing that had happened during my work was.........
all 3 of us [SP students - geok, amalina and I] had URINARY TRACT INFECTION!
damn irritating can!
i got it lk 1 mth ago. WAHAHAHA.
thats so long ago na.

let me tell u my story....

ok. as i have said. i got my UTI a mth ago.
i took my own urine sample [the colour was clear, abit reddish but still looks quite ok to me]
i looked under the microscope.
WOW.

i swear i nv c sooooo many red blood and white blood cells in my whole life before la!
printed my results and went to Accident and Emergency to c the doctor.
the doc gave me Potassium Citrate solution and Ciproflaxin antibiotics tablets.
it cost me $75. =.=
after eating for a few days, i felt quite well alr so i stopped my course.
HMMMMM.
WRONG CHOICE!
the bacteria came back wif a more serious attack.
this time round, i took my urine sample and i got a shock!
my urine was coffee in colour!
i thot it was quite serious alr so i went to Microbiology lab ask the technologist to help me do a culture.
they found out that i was actually resistant to the antibiotic - Ciproflaxin alr.
and they found >100,000 colonies of E.coli [a type of bacteria].
COOL EH?
as i din wan to pay another $75, i went to ask the pathogist to give me a prescription.
i took ciproflaxin again to try c if it could work.
i went to the pharmacy and buy ciproflaxin only to find out that CIPROFLAXIN TABLETS ONLY COST A BLOODY HELL $1.20!

i was damn shocked and amused by my stupidity sia!
i kept luffing at myself from the pharmacy back to the laboratory. =.=

after taking ciproflaxin for 1 wk, i did another urine culture.
obviously it was still not working for me.
E.coli was still present in my urine~
Bo bian la~
went to c my family doctor instead.
asked her to giv me Augmentin [another antibiotic which i was tested to be sensitive to].
im right now still taking this antibiotic.

all in all, i took one whole mth of antibiotic!
